What is aquamation?
Aquamation, also known as alkaline hydrolysis or water cremation, is a gentle, eco-friendly alternative to traditional flame cremation. It uses a warm circulation of water and natural minerals to return your pet to their natural elements, leaving only the mineral remains (ash) to be returned to you.
How is aquamation different from flame cremation?
Instead of fire, aquamation uses water. The process is quieter, gentler, and far more environmentally friendly, using up to 90% less energy and producing no direct greenhouse gas emissions. Many families find comfort in choosing a process as gentle as the life their pet lived.
Is aquamation really more eco-friendly?

Will I receive my pet's remains?
With individual aquamation, your pet is cared for on their own and only your pet's remains are returned to you in a dignified urn, along with a certificate. With communal aquamation, pets are cared for together and remains are not returned.
How long does the process take?
The aquamation process itself takes time to complete gently, and your pet is typically returned to you within a few days. We keep you informed at every step so you are never left wondering.

We can comfortably and respectfully care for any pet ranging from 1 lb up to 250 lbs.
